Decision makers be responsible
How long will it be before the extreme anti-Christian movements get
their own way again and legislation is passed to stop advertising
church
notices?
This
perplexing and vexing question is not as far fetched as might appear
on the surface. If
the devotees of the bitterness of extremists, in their swelling
numbers have their way, our churches would become monuments of past
spiritual vigor.
Secularism,
in all it’s shapes and sizes, is gathering momentum at a fast
pace, and this is a fact of our crumbling society,
with it’s immorality, abomination and debauchery, today.
Alas,
many who are in positions of power and decision-making, be it in
politics, the media or public service, can determine where society
is going,
how society should behave, how society should be controlled,
and their endeavors, subtle though they may be, are served to the
unaware public, under the cloak of
tolerance, the new religion.
We
are in the 21st Century
they bellow, as if sin no longer exists, as if sin died with
the middle ages.
I
am a Christian…why? Is it for applause or appraisal? Is it for
popularity (God forbid)? Is it for monetary gain? No! I am a
Christian first and foremost because I
need to be. There
is a heaven to gain and there is a hell to shun. To follow anything
else you do so at your own peril. Let us stop pussy-footing around.
Decision-makers,
let your conscience guide you…be responsible.
The
Christian church will survive! Yes, the road may be rough, but the
arrival is safe!
