I cannot say that I was an alcoholic, murderer, violent or subject to infidelity. Nevertheless I am a sinner saved by grace. I was not a sinner because I sinned, but I sinned because I was a sinner. Brought up by Christian parents I had a picture of the meaning of salvation . It was in Malaya, in 1956 during my National Service that I came into contact with Jesus. Sitting in a small garrison Church, a soldier friend opened my eyes to the truth contained in the Bible. I opened my heart to a Saviour waiting at the door of my life. Then, faith replaced folly.
